  • Acting as Contract Administrator where formally appointed.

  • Inspecting and reporting on site progress and quality.

  • Coordinating and overseeing installation of fixtures, furniture and equipment.

  • Managing any site changes, including cost control.

  • Undertaking post-completion reviews, ensuring best practice on future projects.

  • Overseeing the practical completion and handover.

  • Preparing record drawings and information.

  • Developing the design brief including key aspects - project scope, costs and programme.

  • Undertaking site surveys and appraisal.

  • Advising on the need, role and responsibilites of other professionals.

  • Creating space planning feasibility studies.

  • Developing the scheme into a robust concept design.

  • Generating or adapting the client's brand.

  • Assembling mood boards, 3D digital modelling  and visualisations.

DETAIL

 

  • Progressing the concept design into a fully detailed design.

  • Providing specifications and production information, including schedule of works.

  • Establishing costs and undertaking the tender process.

  • Coordinating technical aspects often prepared by other specialist suppliers.

  • Identifying and advising on Health & Safety considerations.

  • Obtaining Statutory Approvals such as Planning Consents, Building Regulations, Licensing and Landlord Approvals as required.
