Effective space planning is at the heart of the design services that Fisch have nurtured in a special working relationship within the sensitive environment of funeral care on behalf of Central England Co-operative.

With a broad appreciation of every facet of the funeral care practice we have been able to improve capacity and standards of care through stringent planning and a consistent design approach, helping to maintain CEC as a leading Funeral Director.

We work with CEC to improve funeral homes and care centres' across a sizeable estate, on projects large and small. An essential aspect of each project cycle is to review and apply learning to future projects to ensure that there is continual refinement and progression of design standards moving forwards.

During 2018 Fisch also designed the refurbishment of the Crematorium at Bretby which has benefited from a significant improvement to its public facing areas.
